The narrative revolves around Sitaram (Praween Khatiwada), a highly respected village priest (Pandit) whose iconic walking stick (Lauri) serves as a symbol of his religious authority. Beneath the pious facade, hypocrisy runs rampant as the film addresses the harsh realities faced by women of the marginalized Badi community, who are exploited due to societal pressure and poverty. The plot takes a turn when Chaite (Pramod Agrahari) arrives in the village attempting to dismantle these deeply rooted exploitative customs, setting off a confrontation that exposes hidden secrets among the villagers and religious elites.
