LALIBAZAR is a socially rooted drama that exposes the generational suffering of women from Nepal’s Badi community, focusing on a mother’s desperate struggle to protect her daughter from systemic exploitation.At the heart of the story is Madhuwala (Swastima Khadka), a Badi woman trapped within poverty, patriarchal dominance, and the oppressive natthi system, which historically pushed women into sexual servitude.
