Ustad Asha Gopal was a respected classical vocalist from Kathmandu and the father of Swor Samrat Narayan Gopal. He was deeply involved in the devotional music culture of New Road, Kilagal, and surrounding temple areas, where he regularly led and participated in bhajan–kirtan traditions. During Narayan Gopal’s childhood, Ustad Asha Gopal often took him along to these bhajan mandalis, where the young Narayan accompanied the ensemble on basic instruments, absorbing classical discipline and devotional musical structure from an early age.Although formal recordings of Ustad Asha Gopal have not been found, his influence is widely acknowledged in oral histories. His grounding in classical and devotional music shaped the early musical environment that nurtured Narayan Gopal’s sense of melody, discipline, and vocal purity. Researchers consider him an important figure in Kathmandu’s traditional music circles of the early 20th century.

Bachchu Kailash is a celebrated Nepali singer, composer, and lyricist known for shaping the golden era of modern Nepali music. Durgesh Thapa (दुर्गेश थापा) is a dynamic Nepali singer, songwriter, and performer known for his bold lyrics, catchy folk-pop tunes, and high-energy stage presence. Born on May 22, 1990, in Sikkim, India, he grew up in Baglung, Nepal, and began his career in Kathmandu as a side dancer before transitioning into music. He rose to fame with viral hits like “Dushman Hereko Herei,” “Don Aayo Don,” “Bicha Bichama,” and “Chhoto Miniskirt,” which have become staples during Nepali festivals and celebrations. His music blends traditional Lok Dohori with modern pop, often laced with humor and social commentary. He’s also known for his flamboyant fashion and choreography, making his performances visually striking.

Kengal Mehar Shrestha (also known as Kenjal Mehar Shrestha) is a brilliant singer of Nepal. She gained huge fame when she participated in Nepal Idol Season 1. she was the top ten finalists in the season 1 of Nepal Idol 2017. Kengal Mehar Shrestha has her own band named ‘Type III’. Similarly, she also has an official YouTube channel named ‘Kengal Mehar Shrestha official’.
