He has starred in the film White Sun (2016) which was his first film that was entry of Nepal for Academy Awards. Dayahand Rai is also the recipient of numerous awards including three National Awards for Best Supporting Actor in 2009 for Dasdhunga, Best Actor in 2015 for Sambodhan, and Best Actor in 2016 for Kabaddi Kabaddi.

Avon Raj Upreti is a Nepali actor known for his roles in films such as "Chakkar" (2018), "Eklo I", and "Antim Sanskar: The Last Ritual" (2023). He has received acclaim for his performances and has been recognized internationally, winning the Best Male Actor award at the Queens World Film Festival in New York for his role in "Chakkar"
