The Uglyz is a Nepali pop rock band that originated in 1995 at Little Angels’ School in Lalitpur, Nepal. The band was formed by Sarun Tamrakar (vocalist) and Sudip Tamrakar (guitarist), both students at the school. Rakin Lal Shrestha joined as the drummer, completing the lineup. After pursuing college studies abroad, the band members reunited in Nepal and reformed in 2003. Their debut album,
“Rush” (2005), resonated with Nepalese teenagers and adults. Some of the tracks from their albums include:
