Deepak Chhetri was a distinguished Nepali film actor known for his powerful presence and memorable character portrayals across more than three decades of cinema. Renowned for intense negative and supporting roles, he appeared in notable films such as Seemana, White Sun, Rajja Rani, Bulbul, and Halkara. His performances were marked by emotional depth, physical precision, and a strong command of screen realism. Biraj Bhatta, born Bhojraj Bhatta in Dhangadhi, is one of Nepal’s most commercially successful action actors, celebrated for his commanding screen presence and cross‑industry impact in Nepali, Bhojpuri, and Tharu cinema. Active since the early 2000s, he has appeared in over 200 films, earning the titles “Action Star” and “Action Tiger” for his signature socio‑drama and action roles.He received the National Film Award for Best Actor for Khal Nayak (2008) and remains one of the highest‑paid actors in Nepali film history. His recent work includes directing and starring in the 2024 action‑drama 12 Gaun, which strengthened his reputation as a bankable star and filmmaker.With a career spanning two decades, Biraj continues to shape Nepal’s mainstream action cinema.
