Born on December 11 in Kathmandu, Nepal, to Devendra Prasad Bhatta and Tara Devi Bhatta, Manzayashree Bhatta was raised in the Samakhusi area of Kathmandu. Despite having no formal musical training, she discovered her innate singing talent early on, considering it a divine gift. Her musical journey commenced in 2004 with the recording of her debut song, “Sinduri Sanjh Ma”, composed by her sister Anusha and penned by her brother Rajan. In 2005, she released her first album, “Magnet”, marking her official entry into the Nepali music industry. Her mother has been a significant source of inspiration throughout her musical endeavors. One of her notable songs, “Timlai Samjhiye”, gained popularity among listeners and media, further establishing her presence in the music scene. In 2024, Manzayashree achieved international recognition with the release of her single “Jhyain”, a collaborative Indo-Nepali fusion track featuring Bollywood singer Dev Negi. The song was showcased at Times Square in New York City, symbolizing a significant milestone in her career. The music video, directed by renowned cinematographer Binod Pradhan, was filmed at Mumbai's Imperial Palace and featured choreography by the acclaimed duo Bosco-Caesar. The track has garnered over 84.5 million views on YouTube, highlighting its global appeal .

Koili Devi Mathema (1929–2007) was a trailblazer in the Nepali music industry, celebrated as the first woman lyricist, singer, and composer. Born as Radha Basnet in Chisapani Gadhi, Makwanpur, Nepal, she was affectionately nicknamed "Koili" (meaning "cuckoo bird") for her melodious voice. Her career began at Radio Nepal after the establishment of democracy in Nepal, and she went on to record over 4,000 songs, including modern and patriotic pieces. CD Vijaya Adhikari (born 20 August 1991, Lahachok, Pokhara) is a prominent Nepali singer, composer, and playback vocalist, widely recognized for his versatile voice across classical, semi‑classical, ghazal, modern, and patriotic genres. Active since 2010, he rose to national fame after winning The Voice of Nepal Season 1 in 2018, establishing himself as one of the leading modern vocalists of his generation.He has recorded over 200 songs, including major hits such as “Doori Majboori,” “Man Magyau Man Diye,” “Nasha Piune Bani Bhayo,” “Malai Ta Birsinchau Hola Timile,” “Dhan Lai Maya Gariraichhau,” “Mero Lash Ko Malami,” and “Jhanakuti Jhai Jhai (Doli).” His first playback song was for the Nepali film Doli (2018).Adhikari was also one of the 365 vocalists featured in the Guinness World Record‑setting environmental song “Melancholy”, recognized for the most vocal solos in a single recording.Born to Chandra Kanta Adhikari and Durga Devi Adhikari, he grew up in Machhapuchchhre‑4, Lahachok, where early exposure to folk and adhunik music shaped his artistic foundation. Ashmita Pariyar is an emerging Nepali singer known for her dedication to music and her foundation in classical vocal training. She completed her Bachelor's Degree in Classical Music from Lalitkala Campus, Tribhuvan University, one of Nepal's leading institutions for formal music education.Ashmita developed her interest in singing at an early age and began her musical journey with a strong focus on improving her vocal skills. She received music training from Anurag Music School and continued learning under experienced music mentors, including Sangita Rana Pradhan and Laboni Chakraborty.She entered the Nepali music scene with her debut song “Suruwat”, composed by Anil Shahi with lyrics by Pratima Shrestha. She has also released songs such as “Aakashaiko”, a duet featuring Bishwa Nepali, along with other modern Nepali songs.With her academic background in classical music and passion for singing, Ashmita Pariyar continues to develop her career as a vocalist while contributing to Nepal's contemporary music scene.
