Sunil Chhetri is a celebrated Nepali choreographer, performer, and music video director known for his energetic style and creative flair. Originally from Banke and raised in Lumbini, he rose from humble beginnings to become a household name in Nepal’s music and dance scene.
Artistic Journey
Inspired by Michael Jackson, Sunil began dancing in school programs and local events. Despite financial hardships, he pursued his passion relentlessly, eventually moving to Kathmandu where he worked as a dancer before joining the Armed Police Force.
His national breakthrough came in 2013 when he competed in Dance India Dance Season 4, earning praise from Bollywood legend Mithun Chakraborty. Though an injury cut his journey short, it marked the start of his professional ascent.
