Shekhar Chapagain

Brazesh Khanal is a respected Nepali writer, columnist, actor, and novelist known for his diverse contributions to Nepal’s literary and entertainment fields. Born and raised in Kathmandu, he began writing early, publishing his first story in Gorkhapatra while in eighth grade and went on to write screenplays and dialogues for over 100 TV shows and films. He has authored two novels — Yayawar (2013) and Juneli (2016) — acclaimed for their depth and nuance. As an actor, he debuted in theatre with the lead role in Bathtub and has also been involved in film work including writing the screenplay for Gothalo (1996). Known for bridging literature and performance, Brazesh remains an influential creative figure in Nepali culture.

Purna Thapa is a renowned comedian, playwright, and radio program presenter and producer. He was born in Jhamshikhel in the year 2020 B.S. (1963/64 A.D.) to father Haribahadur Thapa and mother Subhalakshmi Thapa. Around 2031/32 B.S. (1974/75 A.D.), satirical performances like “Khirchor” and “Pagal Dance” were being staged in and around Jhamshikhel, Lalitpur. These performances gained significant popularity at the time. The artists behind them were Purna Thapa Magar and his friend Shri Om Shrestha. Among them, Purna Thapa remains a well-known figure in the arts even today. His artistic journey, which began during that period, continues to this day. Purna studied up to Grade 10 at Tika Vidyashram School in Lalitpur and completed his Bachelor's degree in Arts from Patan Campus. Alongside acting, he has also worked in writing and directing. In 2041 B.S. (1984/85 A.D.), he got the opportunity to act in his first radio drama.  

Bhim Bahadur Thapa was a celebrated Nepali film actor known for his versatility, physical agility, and long-standing contribution to Nepali cinema. Active across several decades, he appeared in nearly 100 films and popular television serials, including Tito Satya. Thapa acted in notable films such as Basai (2005), Aama (1996), Tuhuro (1994), Arpan (1993), and Goreto (2002), earning recognition for his expressive performances and strong screen presence. Before entering cinema, he served in the British Army and even participated in World War II. Fondly known as “Nepali Tarzan,” “Nepali Babu,” and “Dancer,” he remained admired for his unique persona and dance skills. Thapa passed away on 13 June 2018 at the age of 92, leaving behind a memorable legacy in Nepali entertainment.

Govinda Sunar is a Nepali film artist and actor known for his growing presence in contemporary Nepali cinema. He has appeared in several notable films, portraying grounded, character‑driven roles that reflect everyday Nepali life and social realities. His performances in Prakash (2022), The Shameless (2024), and Modibeni Gopi (2024) have established him as a subtle yet impactful screen presence.In addition to acting, Govinda has contributed to the Nepali film industry through casting work, serving as a casting assistant and casting director for films such as The Shameless (2024) and Mirai (2025).He is also part of the ensemble cast of the upcoming Nepali feature film Lalibazar (2026), directed by Yam Thapa, further expanding his footprint in mainstream cinema.
