As a lyricist, he wrote songs for films such as Bhauju and Truck Driver, showcasing his poetic depth and narrative sensitivity.Gagan Birahi directed Miteri Gaun, the first Nepali feature film fully shot in Japan, marking a milestone in Nepali cinema’s international production history. Alongside filmmaking, he remained active in literature, writing poems, stories, and lyrics throughout his career.His final published work was the poetry collection “Hastakshar”, which he released from his hospital bed, demonstrating his lifelong dedication to writing even during his final days.Gagan Birahi passed away in October 2018 at the age of 61, leaving behind a respected legacy in both Nepali cinema and literature.

His breakthrough as an actor came with the blockbuster film Samjhana (1983), establishing him as one of the most popular romantic heroes of the 1980s and 1990s.In the early 1990s, KC expanded into film production, producing several commercially successful films that strengthened his position in the industry. He later moved into direction, making his directorial debut with Dreams (2016), starring his son Anmol KC.Across four decades, Bhuwan KC has remained a central figure in Nepali cinema, contributing to its evolution through performance, production, and direction.

Sushmita KC (formerly Sushmita Bomjom) is a noted Nepali actress and producer known for her charismatic screen presence and contributions to mainstream Nepali cinema. Rising to fame with hit films such as Nepali Babu (1999), Ta Ta Sarai Bigris Ni Badri (2000), and Super Star (2001), she established herself as a leading figure of her era. She later expanded into film production, founding Anmol Creations and supporting new creative talent. Sushmita is also recognized as the mother of actor Anmol KC and continues to remain active in Nepali film and public life.
