Anju Upreti is a distinguished Nepali sitar artist, music educator, and academic dedicated to the promotion of Hindustani classical music in Nepal. She currently serves as the Head of the Central Department of Fine Arts (Music), Tribhuvan University, where she is actively involved in teaching, research, curriculum development, and the advancement of higher education in music.Driven by a passion for classical music from an early age, Upreti pursued advanced studies in India and earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Sitar from the Faculty of Performing Arts, Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi, one of South Asia's most prestigious institutions for classical music education. During her academic journey, she received rigorous training under the renowned Padma Shri Dr. Gopal Shankar Mishra and Professor Dr. Prahlad Nath Mishra, both respected exponents of the Banaras Gharana.After returning to Nepal, Anju Upreti joined Tribhuvan University as a lecturer and has played a significant role in strengthening music education through teaching, academic research, and mentoring young musicians. She regularly presents Sitar recitals, lecture-demonstrations, workshops, and seminars, contributing to the preservation and promotion of Hindustani classical music in Nepal.In addition to her university responsibilities, she is associated with Achyutram Bhandari Sangit Pratishthan (ARBM Academy) as a music instructor and mentor, where she helps train aspiring musicians and supports the academy's mission of promoting classical music through education, performances, and community outreach

War Tonight is a fierce metal band from Kalimpong, West Bengal, known for delivering raw, high‑energy performances shaped by the Himalayan underground scene. Their debut single “Goddess of War” introduced a melodic death‑metal sound that champions empowerment and inner resilience. With crushing riffs and an intense stage presence, the band has quickly gained recognition, winning the Melo Tea Fest Band Competition in Darjeeling. War Tonight continues to carve a bold identity in the growing Indian metal landscape.

Parashuram Bhandari is a Nepali master of the sarangi. He hails from the former Kingdom of Nepal, a country of dramatic beauty with a rich and appealing culture. His music ranges from the wildly exuberant to the hauntingly delicate, presented with the rhythmic power that is his signature. The sarangi, whose name means "hundred colors," is an instrument with a cello-like timbre, bowed on three melody strings, with thirty-six sympathetic strings underneath, giving it a haunting cello-like resonance and bright reverberating echo. It is best known for its emotional intensity and its uncanny similarity to the timbre and inflections of the human voice. Parashuram is the only sarangi musician in Nepal to play in the North Indian Classical style. He plays Nepali traditional music on the country's traditional sarangi. The Nepali sarangi is a small hand-carved version of the classical sarangi, an instrument equivalent to the traditional American fiddle. Born in the Kathmandu Valley and educated in India, Parashuram studied with guru Pandit Bacchalal Misra of Varanasi and Senior Musician Gopal Nath Yogi. He received his Master's Degree in Music from Prayag Sangit Samiti. An independent artist, Parashuram Bhandari has published the only textbook on sarangi and is the recipient of National music awards in Nepal. He has performed in numerous countries and released two solo CD's among others with the acclaimed musical group Om Shringara Nepal. When home in the Kathmandu Valley, Parashuram performs in Nepal television, radio, and theatre productions.

Rupesh Shakya is a Nepali musician and flutist, known for his expressive playing, involvement in live performances, studio recordings, and collaborations within contemporary Nepali music. He works with traditional and modern flute styles, contributing to songs, instrumental pieces, and stage shows.
