Samarpan Lama, an exceptionally talented dancer, has left an indelible mark on the Indian entertainment scene. Let’s delve into his fascinating journey: Background and Family: Samarpan hails from Pune, Maharashtra. His parents, originally from Nepal, migrated to India in search of work several years ago. His father, Dimdung Dheeren, works abroad and visits the family once every 2-3 years. Samarpan’s mother, a homemaker, resides in Pune. He has a brother named Sudhir Lama. Dancing Passion: Samarpan’s journey as a dancer began in 2020, without any formal training. He followed international dancers on YouTube to learn and hone his skills. In 2021, he auditioned for the Nepali TV channel OSR Reality and participated in the TV show Dance Champion. India’s Best Dancer Season 3: In 2023, Samarpan auditioned for India’s Best Dancer Season 3. Initially rejected in the digital audition round, he later received a call to showcase his live performance in Mumbai. His journey was not about winning; he aimed to learn and enjoy the process. However, destiny had other plans. In the grand finale, on 30 September 2023, Samarpan was declared the winner of the show. Reflecting on his victory, he expressed gratitude for the platform and the impact it had on his growth as a dancer.
