Laboni Chakraborty is a talented Nepali classical singer originally from Kolkata, India. She has made a significant impact on Nepal’s contemporary classical music scene, captivating audiences with her soulful renditions. She is also a judge on the Mero Voice Universe talent show.  Early Life & Education Laboni Chakraborty grew up in a musical family, where her father and relatives were singers. She began learning music at the age of five under the guidance of Baishali Juardhar. Later, she trained under Ajoy Chakrabarty, a renowned Hindustani classical vocalist, for ten years. She pursued her academic degree in music at Rabindra Bharati University, where she was a gold medalist in her master’s program. Career & Contributions Despite her strong musical foundation in India, Laboni Chakraborty chose to work in Nepal, where she has become one of the most respected classical singers. She teaches music at Lalit Kala Campus, Tribhuvan University, and runs her own music school, Raagrup, where she mentors aspiring musicians. She has performed in various prestigious events, including the Yalamaya Classic, where her rendition of Vilambit and Madhya Khayal in Raag Todi received a standing ovation. Born on 17th Bhadra, Kathmandu, Ashusen Lama grew up in a musically enriched environment. The only child of Hari B. Lama and Kaili Lama, he attended various schools and completed his SLC from Shanti Bidhya School. Passionate about music from an early age, Ashusen pursued his academics at Pashupati Campus in Chabahil before taking a break to focus entirely on music. Entry into Music: Ashusen's musical journey began with winning the Asian Star title, which marked the start of his professional career. He also participated in notable reality shows like Brighter Timro Sur Mero Geet and Swor Sangam on Image FM, which helped him gain recognition. His first song, "Man Pani Timrai," recorded at Jems Pradhan’s studio, launched his career in music. Musical Career: Ashusen is well-known not only as a singer but also as a talented composer. His first album, Man Pani Timrai was a success, and he has since composed music for several Nepali films and albums. He was mentored by renowned figures like Pramod Nirwan and Sanjeev Singh, who greatly influenced his music career. Achievements and Upcoming Projects: Ashusen’s musical contributions have continued to earn him admiration, and he is currently working on his second album, which he hopes to release soon. Shanti Thatal (शान्ति ठटाल) is a renowned Nepali music composer and singer known for her contributions to the Nepali film industry. Born on April 4, 1938, in Darjeeling, India, she is celebrated as the first female music composer in the Nepali film industry. Shanti Thatal has composed music for several Nepali films and has more than 200 songs to her credit. Some of her well-known songs include "Mayalu Ley Samjhe Ki Kaso", "Udi Jaun Bhaney Mo Panchi Hoina", and "Samhalera Rakha". Shanti Thatal's work has earned her numerous accolades, including the Jagadamba Shree Puraskar in 2020 for her contribution to Nepali music. She has also been awarded the Master Mitra Sen Smriti Award for Music by the Sikkim government in 2002.

Ganesh Parajuli is a Nepali singer and composer with a career spanning over 25 years. He has recorded more than 100 songs for Radio Nepal, many of which are preserved in its library. His music covers a range of genres, including modern, classical, folk, and patriotic songs. His first recorded song, "Kehi Khusi Ka Din Pani", was produced in 1988 at Altra Sound Studio, which later became Music Nepal. Some of his most popular songs include "Timilai Apanau Bhanera", "Maya Phool Ho Maya Pat Ho", and "Suna Maya Jadai Chhu Ma Tadha". Ganesh Parajuli has performed internationally, traveling to over a dozen countries for musical tours. He has also received multiple awards, including Nai Kala Nidhi Sangeet Samman (2061 B.S.) and recognition from Ilam Municipality as the best singer of the year (2045 B.S.).
