Bimal Dangi is a celebrated Nepali folk singer known for his contributions to the genre of lok dohori. He hails from Juphal-07, Dolpa, Nepal, and has made a significant impact on the Nepali music scene with his soulful voice and engaging performances. Some of his popular songs include: “Dilko Bhitta Ma” featuring Bishnu Majhi “Panas Ma Batti Baleko” with Bima Kumari Dura "Timi Gayau Arkaiko Dolima" Bimal Dangi has also been recognized with several prestigious awards, such as the Bindebasini Music Award and Mountain Music Nepal. He continues to entertain and inform audiences about the culture and traditions of his birthplace through his music.

Dhruba KC (2003–2077 BS) was a pioneering Nepali modern singer, composer, and radio personality whose soulful voice left an indelible mark on the golden era of Nepali music. Born in Kathmandu to Yagya Bahadur KC and Padam Kumari KC, he began singing at Radio Nepal as a child in 2010 BS and quickly rose to fame with evergreen hits like “Mayalu Hazur Hunchan,” “Narou Narou Saili,” “Timro Maya Kagajko,” and “Aru Kalo Rail Ko Dhuwale.” He was also a music composer, lyricist, and one of Nepal’s first jingle creators, and even performed for King Mahendra, who awarded him a gold medal. Dhruba KC was the uncle of actor Bhuwan KC and remained a respected figure in the industry until his passing in 2021 due to Parkinson’s disease. His legacy lives on through his timeless melodies and his pioneering role in shaping modern Nepali music.

Sharmila Gurung is a senior Nepali folk and dohori singer known for her powerful, earthy vocal style and her mastery of traditional genres such as salaijo, kauda, roila, and lok‑dohori. Born in Syangja, Iladi, she began her musical journey after passing the Radio Nepal vocal test in 2056 BS, recording her first song “Nilo Pachauri”, which became a widely recognized hit of its time.Over the years, Sharmila has recorded over 1,000 folk songs, including enduring favorites such as “Ballai Bho Bheta,” “Kali Ganga Taren,” “Farka Muglani,” “Rani Ghataima,” and numerous salaijo and Gurung cultural songs. She has also released her solo album Gahana, showcasing her versatility across Nepali folk traditions.Sharmila is celebrated for her national and international stage presence, performing across the UK, Japan, Belgium, Singapore, Brunei, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Korea, Bahrain, Qatar, Portugal, and India.

Khuman Adhikari is a celebrated Nepali folk singer and live dohori performer known for his powerful voice, lyrical wit, and deep connection to rural Nepali culture. With a career spanning over a decade, he has become a household name through hit songs like “Aankha Mari Mari”, “Dariwala”, and “Bahunko Jhorle”. His performances often feature vibrant duets with artists like Tika Sanu and Asha BC, blending humor, romance, and social commentary. Khuman is also a prolific Teej song contributor, with tracks like “Teejma Ramailo” showcasing his versatility and festive spirit. Beyond singing, Khuman is admired for preserving traditional dohori formats while adapting them for modern audiences, making him a vital voice in Nepal’s evolving folk music landscape.
