Melina Rai

  Lasimit Rai, born in Rangapani, Jalpaiguri, India, was a celebrated Nepali singer active for more than three decades. She earned her Master’s degree in Nepali Literature from Tribhuvan University and taught at United Academy in Jawalakhel. Her admired film songs include Mayaluko Muharai Hansilo from Gauley, Sangsangai Bachna Paun from Lekhanth, Mari Gaye Muri Mato from Paradeshi Kanchha, and Aaj Maile Ram Namai Japey from Majhi Dai. Her modern hits include Sunkoshiko Sunko Pani, Samjhanale, and Ghamle Pani Polchha. She lent her voice to over fifty songs. Rai passed away in 2021 due to COVID‑19.    

GBOB, real name Sudeep Bhandari, is a rising voice in Nepal’s hip-hop scene. Originally from Gorkha and now based in Godawari, Lalitpur, he first came into the spotlight through the rap battle show All Nepal Thug Family (ANTF), where his raw delivery and street lyricism instantly went viral. Known for impactful tracks like “Timro Chahana”, “Chill Maa”, and “Aama”, GBOB blends real-life struggles, cultural identity, and emotional honesty in his music — all delivered in his native Nepali. In 2025, he released “Parichaye (The Intro)”, a bold opening to a new chapter, showcasing deeper lyricism and fearless storytelling. “Rehab taught me hustle. I learned more there than anywhere else.” — GBOB GBOB is currently working under the record label The Bob Records, contributing as a core artist and expanding his sound and reach. With an authentic voice, powerful lyrics, and a rapidly growing audience, he’s building a movement — not just a music career.

Purushottam Neupane is a celebrated Nepalese folk singer known for his contributions to the Lok Dohori genre. His music reflects the rich cultural heritage of Nepal, blending traditional melodies with heartfelt lyrics. Songs like "Hall Suneko" and "Jhil Jhil Sitara" showcase his talent and passion for folk music.

Ankit Babu Adhikari is a musician, singer and lyricist from Kathmandu, known from his as finalist in Nepali Tara season 3 & the voice. Ankit started his musical career by composing and performing songs for a post-modern play Coma; A Political Sex staged at Shilpee Theatre, Kathmandu in 2014. His another major milestone includes his solo concert organised in tribute to Narayan Gopal.In 2014-15 he made it to Nepali Tara after which he gained wider audience throughout Nepal and abroad. His first original release is Ram Naam, a song that questions the physical existence of God; that was critically acclaimed in Nepal. He continued his experiment in a 2016 release Nau Futey Bhoot (9 ft. ghost), a song about Indian Blockade in Nepal, for which the Japan-based magazine The Diplomat named him Nepal's Singing Storyteller.
