Melina Manandhar is a prominent Nepalese actress, producer, and model. Born on January 23, 1975, in Kathmandu, Nepal, she has been active in the entertainment industry since 1993. She has appeared in over 60 films and television dramas in both Nepali and Newar languages. Some of her notable works include the classic Nepali film Prem Pinda (1995) and the Newari film Balamaiju, for which she won the National Film Award in 2010.
