Megh Lama

Born on 17th Bhadra, Kathmandu, Ashusen Lama grew up in a musically enriched environment. The only child of Hari B. Lama and Kaili Lama, he attended various schools and completed his SLC from Shanti Bidhya School. Passionate about music from an early age, Ashusen pursued his academics at Pashupati Campus in Chabahil before taking a break to focus entirely on music. Entry into Music: Ashusen's musical journey began with winning the Asian Star title, which marked the start of his professional career. He also participated in notable reality shows like Brighter Timro Sur Mero Geet and Swor Sangam on Image FM, which helped him gain recognition. His first song, "Man Pani Timrai," recorded at Jems Pradhan’s studio, launched his career in music. Musical Career: Ashusen is well-known not only as a singer but also as a talented composer. His first album, Man Pani Timrai was a success, and he has since composed music for several Nepali films and albums. He was mentored by renowned figures like Pramod Nirwan and Sanjeev Singh, who greatly influenced his music career. Achievements and Upcoming Projects: Ashusen’s musical contributions have continued to earn him admiration, and he is currently working on his second album, which he hopes to release soon. His unique blend of soulful compositions and melodious voice has garnered him a dedicated fanbase. Shiva Pariyar is a celebrated Nepali semi‑classical and pop vocalist known for his powerful range and soulful delivery. Active since 2003, he has released multiple acclaimed albums and delivered evergreen hits like Kaha Thiyeu Timi, Sangi, Pilayo Sathile, Dherai Choti Maren Ma Ta, and Alikati Nazar Timro. Trained in classical music, he is skilled in harmonium, tabla, and guitar. Shiva has appeared in dozens of music videos and is widely regarded as one of Nepal’s finest male vocalists. He received the National Music Award for Best Male Vocal Performance, honoring his lasting contribution to Nepali music.

Uday Sotang is a well-known Nepali musician. He has written and composed numerous songs, and sung many of them himself. Most of his songs have been rendered by his wife Manila Sotang. Uday Sotang is originally from Tukvar, near Darjeeling, India. He moved to Kathmandu to pursue his musical career in 1988. Uday Sotang is married to Manila Sotang who is a Nepali singer. Their daughter Shreya Sotang is an popular singer who has already released an album. With more than 200 songs to his credit, Uday Sotang is considered to be one of the popular and successful Nepali musicians. He is based in Kathmandu, Nepal. The husband-wife duo of Uday and Manila have produced more than 10 music albums.
