Active since 2014, he has contributed to several notable films, including Kohinoor (screenplay, dialogue), K Ma Timro Haina Ra (screenplay), and the acclaimed Blind Rocks (story). His breakthrough as a director came with Hurray (2018) and Rajja Rani (2018), followed by the emotional drama Meri Mamu, where he served as both writer and director.Thapa’s recent works include writing and directing the upcoming film Lalibazar (2026), and contributing story, screenplay, and dialogue to titles such as Paraan (2025) and Anjila (2025). Arpan Thapa is a renowned Nepali actor, screenwriter, and director. Born on November 15, 1978, in Kathmandu, Nepal, he has made significant contributions to the Nepali film industry. Career Highlights Acting: Arpan began his acting career with the Nepali film "Sick City," playing the lead role as Krishna. He has since appeared in numerous films, including "Batch No: 16," "Dhanda," "Chhadke," "Badhshala," "Maun," "Mukhauta," "Suntali," "Dying Candle," "Bir Bikram," "Bato Muni ko Phool 2," "Hamlet," "Anaagat," "America Boys," "Lappan Chhappan," "Changa Chet," "Firke," "Ghar," "Teen Jantu," "Chiso Manchhe," and "Prasad 2".
