Bhupendra Rayamajhi is a renowned Nepali musician, music director, arranger, and lyricist with over 30 years of experience in the music industry. His passion for music began in childhood and turned professional when he joined Radio Nepal as a guitarist in 1983, later becoming a music arranger in 1990. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Music from Prayag Samiti, Allahabad, India. In 1998, he was appointed Chief of the Music Department at Radio Nepal, where he played a vital role in nurturing and uplifting Nepali music. He retired from Radio Nepal in 2018 and continues to create heartfelt music that connects with audiences worldwide.

Manik Ratna Sthapit is a legendary Nepali singer and composer, widely admired for his expressive voice, refined musical discipline, and contribution to the development of Nepal’s modern musical era. Known for his smooth vocal delivery and deep melodic understanding, Sthapit became one of the respected voices who helped shape the sound of Nepali music during a transformative period.Emerging from a generation that valued classical grounding and cultural authenticity, Sthapit built his reputation through emotionally rich performances and compositions rooted in Nepali identity. His songs reflect clarity, balance, and a timeless melodic structure that continues to resonate with listeners and musicians.As a composer, he created works that blend traditional sensibility with modern musical expression. His compositions are known for their lyrical depth, elegant phrasing, and musical purity — qualities that earned him recognition among senior musicians, broadcasters, and cultural institutions.Throughout his career, Sthapit remained committed to artistic integrity. His influence extends across generations, inspiring singers, composers, and students who look to his work as a model of discipline, taste, and musical excellence.

Saran Kumar Pradhan (1943–1974) was one of Darjeeling’s most gifted lyricists, composers, and mandolin virtuosos, shaping the golden era of modern Nepali music. Born on 4 May 1943, he grew up in a culturally vibrant Darjeeling and taught himself banjo, harmonium, and mandolin with remarkable mastery. A science graduate from St. Joseph’s College, he later taught at St. Robert’s School, where he also composed the school anthem. A student of maestro Amber Gurung, Saran emerged as a leading figure of Adhunik music alongside Aruna Lama, whom he married in 1963. Their partnership produced timeless classics such as “Yaha Ful Nakhili Cha,” “Sabaile Bhanthe,” “Hera Na Hera Kancha,” and many others. His music club Sangeet Sangam became a creative hub that nurtured Darjeeling’s finest talents. Saran passed away in 1974 at just 31, leaving behind a luminous body of work that continues to define Nepali musical heritage.

Prajwal studied piano at 6 and is still learning. He performed extensively all over Nepal. He has been involved in a diverse multitude of musical projects extending across a comprehensive range of musical styles, including pop, rock, R&B, commercial music, Indian Classical, Western Classical, Jazz, Fusion, etc. as well as the broad spectrum of Nepali music collaborating with local, national and international artists. Involvement in the recording industry, commercial television production, music theatre, and teaching rounded out his activities in Nepal. Prajwal is a member of the Music Association of Nepal and has actively worked as a Keyboardist and a Music Director with International Franchise Television reality shows such as Nepal Idol, Voice of Nepal, SaReGaMaPa Li’l Champs, and other local reality shows. Prajwal has extensive experience in music performances. He worked in the prestigious music club of Nepal, “RAJGHARANA,” for three years and toured with many well-known Nepali, Indian, and other international musicians. He was also on the faculty of Nepal Music Center, Kathmandu Jazz Conservatory, and the University of North Texas, currently teaching Piano. Prajwal is currently focused on creating original music and is a member of several Nepali bands performing concerts with visiting international music artists.
