He was born on May 30, 1987, in Dhankuta, Nepal, and tragically passed away on January 14, 2017, in London, UK. He is widely regarded as one of the most influential figures in Nepalese hip-hop, often referred to as the "King of Nephop". Munna Gurung is a Nepali modern‑song artist whose work appears across Nepal’s digital music platforms, particularly in the soft‑melodic and sentimental genre. His track “Anjanai Ma” under the modern‑song category confirms his recognition as a registered Nepali music artist. Similarly, his digital release “Layeko Maya” showcases his soft, expressive vocal style rooted in contemporary Nepali melody. Nalina Chitrakar is pop singer from Nepal. She was named the country's best pop singer in 1999 and 2005 and has performed at several events including Miss Nepal and Nepal Idol.
