Tripti Nadakar is a Nepali actress known for her significant contributions to Nepali cinema. Born on January 2, 1969, in Darjeeling, India, she has a unique heritage with a Marathi father and a Nepalese mother. Tripti gained fame for her roles in iconic Nepali films such as Samjhana, Kusume Rumal, Saino, and Lahure. She was often paired with actor Bhuwan K.C., and together they were celebrated as the first "golden couple" of Nepali cinema. Her journey in acting began at a young age, and she transitioned from Marathi and Gujarati films to Nepali cinema, where she left a lasting legacy. Despite her success, she took a long break from acting to focus on her family but later made a comeback in films like Aama Ko Kakh.

Rupa Rana is a prominent Nepali actress who entered the film industry in 1989 with Bhagya Rekha and quickly became one of the recognizable faces of the 1990s Nepali cinema. Over her career, she has acted in more than two dozen films, including Chino, Prem, Bhisma Pratigya, Aama Ko Maya, Dushman, Prem Geet, Ma Yesto Geet Gauchhu, Kri, and Panchayat. Known for her versatility, she has portrayed both leading and strong character roles across decades. Rana has also appeared in music videos and earned honors such as the Silver Jubilee Award at the D Cine Awards 2074.  

Shrijana Ninglekhu is a Nepali actress known for her roles in the movies Karsang (2025), Hami Nepali Hami Gorkhali (2023), and Other Side (2024). She has gained recognition for her versatile performances and continues to contribute to Nepali cinema.

Manisha Koirala is a Nepal‑born, internationally acclaimed actress and social activist whose career spans Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, and Nepali cinema. Rising to prominence in the 1990s as one of Bollywood’s most celebrated leading actresses, she is known for her powerful performances in films such as 1942: A Love Story, Bombay, Khamoshi: The Musical, Dil Se.., Gupt, Akele Hum Akele Tum, Company, and Lajja. A recipient of multiple Filmfare Awards and national honors, she has also served as a UNFPA Goodwill Ambassador and is widely respected for her cancer‑survivor advocacy and humanitarian work.
