Starting from his early life in Biratnagar, Prakash Pathak was born in 2001 B.S. (1944 AD) and later became a familiar face in Nepali cinema. He entered the Nepali film industry in the early 2040s B.S. (1980s AD), gradually establishing himself through steady, heartfelt performances in social and family‑oriented films.Over the course of nearly three decades, Pathak contributed to a wide range of Nepali feature films and telefilms. He appeared in several well‑known titles, including Mayalu, Tilahari, Gopikrishna, Tuhuro, and Bandhan, along with numerous other productions across the 1980s, 1990s, and early 2000s.Prakash Pathak was known for portraying grounded, relatable characters — often fathers, uncles, community figures, or emotionally layered supporting roles.
