Sushila Rayamajhi was a respected Nepali film artist known for her natural, emotionally grounded performances and her versatile contributions to cinema. Beginning her career through radio plays, she later worked at Rastriya Naachghar before transitioning fully into films, where she appeared in more than 50 movies. She gained recognition with her lead role in Chot and went on to act in acclaimed films such as Prem Pinda, A Mero Hajur, Kaha Bhetiyela, Pahuna, Nata Ragat Ko, and Yug Dekhi Yug Samma. She also produced and co‑produced films like Dhan Sampati and Pinjada, showcasing her creative range.
