He rose to national fame through the hit comedy serial Dittha Sab, aired on Kantipur Television, where his portrayal of a witty, outspoken village character became a cultural phenomenon. A versatile performer, Bhandari has worked as an actor, comedian, scriptwriter, and director, contributing to both films and serials. He has directed the feature film Changa and continues to create and act in popular comedy series such as Harke Hawaldar and the 2025–2026 serial Adda / Adda Kachahari. Beyond entertainment, he is also active in public service—elected as a Ward Member of Tarkeshwor Municipality‑2, Kathmandu in 2022, representing the Nepali Congress
