Lok Raj Adhikari is a renowned Nepali lyricist and journalist, known for his contributions to Nepali music and media. Born in Laxmipur, Dang, he has been active in the industry since 1999. His lyrics, especially in ghazals and modern songs, have resonated with audiences, making him a respected figure in Nepali music. Early Life & Education Lok Raj Adhikari was born in Dang, Nepal, and spent his childhood in Laxmipur. He pursued his education at Ratna Rajya Laxmi Campus, where he developed his passion for writing and journalism. Career in Music & Journalism Adhikari has written numerous songs that have gained popularity in Nepal. His song "Timile Parai Thanepachhi" (2009) became widely downloaded as a Caller Ring Back Tone (CRBT). Another hit, "Rupai Mohani" (2017), featured in the Nepali film Satrugate and was frequently viewed on YouTube. Apart from his work in music, Adhikari has been involved in journalism. He has worked as a news editor and presenter at Deshantar, and he serves as the Asia Coordinator at the International Nepalese Artist Society (INAS). Pawan Chamling is widely known as a politician, but he has also made contributions as a poet and writer. He has received several literary awards, including the Poets’ Foundation Award for lifetime achievement in literature and the Bhanu Puraskar from the Sikkim Sahitya Parishad. Additionally, he has been involved in creative projects such as the films Ma ta Sikkime (2011) and Hajar Juni Samma (2019). Some of his well-known songs include: Manlai Chhoyera Jaaneharu Sansaar Timi Geet Timinai Bhanideo His lyrical compositions often carry deep meaning and resonate with audiences who appreciate Nepali music and literature.

Lochan Rijal is a multi-instrumentalist, a singer, songwriter and a scholar of ethnomusicology. Born in the Panchthar district of Nepal, he grew up around music performed at festivals by the local people of that region. The experience influenced him to explore the potential of sound and develop his passion into his profession. While in college, he began teaching music to school children in Kathmandu while also working in the pop and rock music scene, producing award-winning albums, before moving onto something that fed his scholarly ambitions. In 2014, he graduated with a PhD in ethnomusicology from the University of Massachusetts and Kathmandu University. He also works as the associate professor and Head of Kathmandu University’s Department of Music.
