Her musical journey began in the early 2000s, and she rose to prominence through duets with her husband and frequent collaborator, Raju Dhakal. Together, they’ve delivered countless hits, including “Oralima Bar”, “Dui Mutuko Bandhan”, and “Takine Aaina”. Her discography also features beloved songs like “Banki Chari” with Arjun Sapkota, “Lauri Harayo” with Pashupati Sharma, and “Rudai Fulyo Makhmali” with Badri Pangeni. Devi has received numerous accolades, including the Music Khabar Music Award, Teej Music Award, and Kalika Music Award, recognizing her as one of the best female folk singers in Nepal. She was also elected as a central member of the Lok Dohori Pratisthan in 2019, affirming her leadership in the folk music community. Kumar Kanchha is a legendary Nepali playback singer, composer, and actor, known for his soulful voice and contributions to both music and cinema. Born on 28th Mangsir 2014 B.S. in Kolkata, India, he rose to fame with timeless hits like “Jindagi Ko Ke Bhara Cha Ra,” “Amaile Bhanthin,” and “Batasale Udai Lyayo.” His album Goreto and songs like “Naina Resham” remain Nepali folk-pop classics. In addition to his musical legacy, Kumar Kanchha also made a mark as an actor. He appeared in the iconic film Saino (directed by Ugyen Chopel), where his song “Kalko Pani Rakshi Ganayo” became a cultural phenomenon. He also acted in films like Lahure and Koshili, contributing both as a performer and playback singer. Kumar Kanchha’s dual legacy in music and film has made him one of the most cherished and versatile artists in the history of Nepali entertainment.

Pratap Das was interested in the music since his early childhood. One day when his school had preparing for the welfare program for his senior. Teachers and program organizer were looking for a singer for this program. So, his friend said that Pratap can sing a song because he is interested in the music. Everyone forced to sing a song on the stage. This was the first stage program where he sang a song. Later, he started to participate in the different musical competition. One of the most popular shows of that time Nepali Tara Season Three was a place which gave him a name in Nepali Music Industry. At that competition, Pratap had become a Third Runner Up. The name Pratap Das became a most popular after started the first season of Nepal’s number one musical reality shows Nepal Idol 2017. He was the second runner-up of this reality show.
