Lekhnath Niraula

Ramchandra Adhikari (रामचन्द्र अधिकारी) is one of Nepal’s most prolific and beloved film and television artists, celebrated for his comedic timing, grounded character portrayals, and decades-long contribution to Nepali entertainment. Born in Gothatar, Kathmandu, he rose from a difficult childhood—working as a home assistant and later traveling through Hetauda, Benaras, and Sarlahi—to eventually return to Kathmandu, where his artistic journey began.His entry into acting started around 2035 BS (1978–79) with the theatre play Sachha Prem by Bhairav Aryal, whose success opened doors to wider collaborations. While working night shifts at Nepal Telecom, he spent his days performing, steadily becoming a household name.Adhikari is best known for his iconic comedic persona “Kaji Ba / Gopte Kaji”, and for his long-running role in Nepal’s most enduring sitcom Meri Bassai, where his performance became a cultural fixture. His career spans 400+ films, numerous telefilms, and television series, making him one of the most recorded actors in Nepali cinema history.His contribution was formally recognized when he became the first Nepali artist to receive life insurance from the Film Development Board—an unprecedented honor reflecting his impact on the industry.

Sushila Rayamajhi was a respected Nepali film artist known for her natural, emotionally grounded performances and her versatile contributions to cinema. Beginning her career through radio plays, she later worked at Rastriya Naachghar before transitioning fully into films, where she appeared in more than 50 movies. She gained recognition with her lead role in Chot and went on to act in acclaimed films such as Prem Pinda, A Mero Hajur, Kaha Bhetiyela, Pahuna, Nata Ragat Ko, and Yug Dekhi Yug Samma. She also produced and co‑produced films like Dhan Sampati and Pinjada, showcasing her creative range. Rayamajhi passed away on 26 January 2012 after battling uterine cancer, leaving behind a meaningful legacy in Nepali cinema.  

Shree Ram Pudasaini is a senior Nepali film actor and a former executive committee member of the Nepal Film Artists Association. Active in Nepali cinema for several decades, he has contributed to feature films, television serials, and numerous music videos, establishing himself as a committed and respected figure in the industry.He has acted in several Nepali films, including Commander (2020) and the historical drama Bhimdatta, where he appeared alongside artists such as Nawal Khadka and Nisha Adhikari. His verified filmography also includes earlier works like Bhul (1996) and Dasgaja (2011), reflecting a long creative journey across different eras of Nepali cinema.Beyond acting, Pudasaini has been active in organizational leadership within the Nepal Film Artists Association, serving in various roles and contributing to the welfare and representation of artists. In recognition of his service and dedication, he has been honored with the association’s “Seva Samman.”He has also directed and acted in multiple television serials and has appeared in several notable music videos, further showcasing his versatility and long-standing commitment to the performing arts.
