Ram Babu Regmi

Dayahang Rai is a Nepalese actor, director and play writer known for his work in Nepali cinema. He is one of the most popular and acclaimed actors in Nepal. He has starred in 40 plus films and is one of the leading contemporary actors in Nepal. Dayahang rose to prominence from the television series Yuva, Dalan and Hamro Team. His first leading role in a film was in Anagarik (2006) and had only one successful film Dasdhunga (2010) to his name but the 2012 Industry Hit film Loot (2012) marked turning point in his career and since then has starred in successful films Chhadke (2013), Badhshala (2013), Karkash (2013), Jholey (2014), Kabaddi (2013) and its sequels Kabaddi Kabaddi (2015) and Kabbadi Kabbadi Kabbadi (2019), Talakjung vs Tulke (2014), Woda Number 6 (2015), How Funny (2016), Bir Bikram (2016), Loot 2 (2017), Kaanchi (2018) and Jatrai Jatra (2019). He has starred in the film White Sun (2016) which was his first film that was entry of Nepal for Academy Awards. Dayahand Rai is also the recipient of numerous awards including three National Awards for Best Supporting Actor in 2009 for Dasdhunga, Best Actor in 2015 for Sambodhan, and Best Actor in 2016 for Kabaddi Kabaddi.

Mukunda Mainali is a Nepali film and television actor known for his strong presence in social‑themed TV serials and his consistent contribution to Nepali screen acting. He is widely recognized for his role in the popular social serial “Juthe”, where he appears as one of the principal cast members alongside Rabi Giri, Bidhya Karki, Rambabu Regmi, Sarmila Sharma, and others.Mainali’s work in Juthe-a serial centered on the Dalit emancipation movement and social justice has made him a familiar face in contemporary Nepali television. The series airs on Himalaya Television and is directed by Raju Poudel and Marichman Shrestha.He is also credited as part of the cast of the iconic Nepali sitcom “Tito Satya”, one of Nepal’s longest‑running and most‑watched comedy‑drama series. The show featured a large ensemble cast, including Deepak Raj Giri, Deepa Shree Niraula, Gopal Dhakal, Prem Pandey, and others, with Mukunda Mainali listed among the recurring actors.

Mithila Sharma, born on October 16, 1963, in Kathmandu, Nepal, is a distinguished actress and dancer renowned for her significant contributions to Nepali cinema and theater. She initiated her artistic journey at the tender age of nine, performing a dance routine for King Birendra's birthday celebration. This early exposure paved the way for a prolific career spanning over four decades.​ In 1986, Mithila made her film debut in "Biswas," portraying a dance teacher—a role that underscored her dual talents in acting and dance. Her performances in films such as "Mukundo: Mask of Desire" (2000), "Karma" (2006), and "Undone by Love" (2004) have been particularly acclaimed, showcasing her versatility and depth as an actress. Beyond her on-screen endeavors, Mithila has been dedicated to nurturing the next generation of performers. She has imparted her knowledge of singing and dancing at institutions like Kantishwori and St. Mary's High School in Nepal. Her commitment to the arts extends to the stage, where she has participated in over 25 plays and directed numerous musicals.​ In her personal life, Mithila married former Inspector General of Police Motilal Bohara in 2014. Ranjana Bhattarai is a Nepali theatre artist and film actress active in contemporary Kathmandu theatre and South Asian cinema. On stage, she has worked with groups like Katha Ghera and Kausi Theatre, performing in acclaimed productions such as “Wedding Album” (as bride Bidushi Koirala) and “Play the System” (as Namita), where she portrays complex, modern Nepali women navigating family and workplace pressures.On screen, Bhattarai appears in the Nepali‑language Indian film “Harry Ki Pyari” (2023) in the role of Urmila, and in the TV mini‑series “A Glass of Happiness” (2021), where she is credited both as an actress (Pari) and as part of the costume/wardrobe team (stylist).
