Harish Pathare, who worked as a film editor on Parivartan (1971), is a Nepali film personality associated with the early development of Nepali cinema. Although detailed documentation about his life and career is limited, we always remember him with respect as one of the early contributors who helped shape the foundation of Nepali filmmaking in the 1970s.

Sadhana Sargam is a celebrated Indian playback singer known across South Asia for her expressive, classically rooted voice. While she has recorded thousands of songs in Indian cinema, she holds a special place in Nepali music, where her soft, emotive singing helped define the sound of Nepali romantic films from the 1990s onward.Her entry into Nepali playback began with collaborations with leading Nepali music directors, where her refined vocal texture blended seamlessly with Nepali melodies. Over the years, she became one of the most recognizable non‑Nepali voices in the industry, contributing to film soundtracks, modern songs, and cross‑border musical projects.Sargam’s Nepali songs are admired for their clarity, emotional depth, and effortless delivery—qualities that made her a preferred voice for love songs, sentimental tracks, and melodious duets. Her work strengthened the musical bridge between Nepal and India, inspiring a generation of Nepali singers and composers.

Sudhanshu Joshi is a Nepali film actor and producer best known for his leading roles in 1990s Nepali cinema, including Jali Rumal, Sima Rekha, Yo Mayale Launa Satayo, and Bishalu. His tall, charismatic screen presence made him one of the recognizable romantic and dramatic actors of his era.He made his debut with the commercially successful film Jali Rumal (1994), which established him as a rising star of the mid‑1990s. Over the years, he acted in around ten Nepali films, with the historical drama Sima Rekha (1997) earning him significant acclaim and audience appreciation.Beyond acting, Sudhanshu Joshi has contributed to Nepali cinema as a producer, story writer, and audiographer, notably in the patriotic film Nepal (2007).For the past 18 years, he has been residing in the United States, where he remains active in Nepali community events and social activities while continuing to support Nepali arts and culture from abroad.

Basu Sashi was a pioneering Nepali poet, playwright, novelist, lyricist, and translator whose creative influence spanned literature, theatre, and cinema. Born on Chaitra 13, 1993 B.S. in Pashupati, Kathmandu, he founded the literary circle Rodi, where he worked alongside Bhupi Sherchan, Krishnabhakta Shrestha, Himanshu Thapa, and Kumar Nepal. Celebrated primarily as a poet, he also excelled in drama, fiction, songwriting, and translation, publishing more than two dozen works in Nepali and Newari. He wrote for the films Maya (2047‑10‑12) and Lobhi‑Papi (2047‑12‑15), the latter being especially associated with his name. He passed away on Chaitra 4, 2049 B.S. at Tata Memorial Hospital in India, and was cremated in Kathmandu the following day.
