Salyan K.C. was a Nepali film actor who appeared in some of the early productions of the Nepali film industry. He is known for his roles in films produced during the formative years of Nepal’s state-supported cinema.
He played a leading role in Man Ko Bandh, the first film produced by the Royal Nepal Film Corporation, where he starred opposite Sushma Shahi.
Salyan K.C. was also associated with the film Kumari, directed by Prem Bahadur Basnet. Through these early films, he became part of the generation of actors who helped shape the beginnings of Nepali cinema.
