Saroj Sajan Shrestha (born on December 28, 1985 as Saroj Kumar Shrestha) is a new face in the Nepali music industry. ‘S3’ (Saroj Sajan Shrestha) which was released on December 25, 2015 is his first album. He is a versatile singer and he has sung songs with semi classical, lok fusion, soft rock flavors for the album. He can also compose and write songs. The album ‘S3’ marks the arrival of Shrestha in the industry. Composers Kalyan Singh and Ishwor Magiya are the composers of the album while the lyricists who have penned the songs for S3 are Ravi Malla, Binu Kchitiz and Prakash Kshanik. ‘Paapini’ and ‘Mayalu Ko Desh’ are his popular songs and it has been included in the album of five songs. Others songs of the album are ‘Timile Farkiyera’, ‘Mahasus Garer Hera’ and ‘Mann Antai’. It was launched by legendry singer Prem Dhoj Pradhan, composer Raju Singh and cover designer Anil Staphit among others. From Phalewas, Parbat, Shrestha was inspired by his late father Ram Prasad Shrestha who was a local musician. He later moved to Kathmandu in 2001 where he took music further. And he officially began his musical journey with the song ‘Mahasus Garer Hera’ recorded in 2013. Music is his life and he can’t imagine life without music. For Shrestha, music is the medium to bring about change in the society.

Roj Moktan is a celebrated Nepali singer and songwriter, born on July 3rd in Ramechhap, Nepal. Mandabi Tripathi, born on July 13, 1982, in Sundarbazar, Lamjung District, Nepal, is a renowned Nepali singer celebrated for her contributions to the country's music industry. She completed her School Leaving Certificate (SLC) in 1997 and pursued further studies in music, earning an Intermediate in Fine Arts (I.F.A) from Tribhuvan University in 2000. Throughout her career, Mandabi has released numerous songs that have resonated with audiences. Born on April 14, 1977, in Byasi, Bhaktapur, she is the eldest daughter of Krishna Bdr Rajchal and Purna Kesari Rajchal. Growing up in a musically inclined family, she was inspired by her father’s love for the harmonium. Her musical journey began early—by class four, she was already performing in school programs and learning harmonium under Hari Prasad Bati. She completed her schooling at Prabhat English Boarding School and Sharda Secondary School, and later earned a bachelor’s degree from Lalit Kala Campus. Her passion for music led her to Rabindra Bharati University in Kolkata, where she earned a second bachelor's degree, followed by a master’s degree at Lalit Kala Campus upon her return to Nepal. She also holds a vocal diploma from Pragya Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad. During her studies in India, she had the opportunity to perform with an orchestra group on Rabindranath Tagore’s birthday, a turning point that helped shape her musical identity. It was in college that she discovered the sitar, an instrument that would become her primary medium of expression. Her professional career officially began in 2004 with the recording of her first song. In 2005, she released her debut album, "The Tradition", and followed it with "Talking Strings" in 2012, showcasing her evolving artistry and mastery of the sitar. Between these releases, she actively toured cities across Nepal and India, including Nepalgunj, Pune, Jharkhand, Nagpur, and Kolkata, bringing her music to diverse audiences. Her journey reflects a deep commitment to classical music and a lifelong dedication to preserving and sharing its beauty through performance and education.
