Jhuma Niraula is a Nepali singer whose musical journey began in Nepali Tara Season 1 (2005), where she first stepped into the national spotlight as part of Nepal’s earliest reality‑show generation of emerging vocalists. Known for her expressive, folk‑infused modern singing style, she has since built a steady presence in Nepali music through emotional, festival, and contemporary folk songs.Her popular works include Aama Timi Mero Bhagawan, Dancema Ma Ek Number, Tihar Aayo Jhilimili, A Dada (Mushahar Jaati), and heartfelt modern tracks like Mero Sirr Ko Sindur, Timinai Po Hau Ki, and Bachna Deu, which continue to circulate widely across Nepali music platforms.

Arun Thapa (1952–1999) was a beloved Nepali singer-songwriter known for his soulful voice and emotionally resonant lyrics. Born in Calcutta, India, he moved to Kathmandu as an infant and later studied in Darjeeling before returning to Nepal to pursue music. His career began in the early 1970s, with his first major hit Jati Maya Laye Pani launching him into national fame. Thapa’s music often reflected themes of love, longing, and introspection, inspired by a personal heartbreak during his college years. His compositions blended poetic depth with melodic simplicity, earning him a devoted following. He worked briefly at Nepal Bank Limited before dedicating himself fully to music, recording for Radio Nepal and releasing two acclaimed albums: Arun and The Best of Arun. Despite battling lung and liver ailments, he continued to sing until his passing in 1999. His legacy lives on through his timeless songs, many of which are considered sadabahar (evergreen) classics.

Swapnil Sharma is a Nepali singer, songwriter, and the lead vocalist of the iconic rock band The Shadows Nepal. Known for his powerful voice and socially conscious lyrics, he has delivered hit songs such as “Hidne Manche Ladcha,” “Ke Pais Nepali,” “Prakriti,” “Mero Nepal,” and “Tadha Bhaye Pani”. Beyond The Shadows, he is also the vocalist of the creative musical collaboration Swar alongside Rohit Shakya and Gautam Tandukar. His work spans rock, alternative, and experimental Nepali soundscapes.

Anuska Pathak is a Nepali singer who has established herself as a leading voice in the industry over the past two decades. She completed her formal music education from Kalanidhi Indira Sangeet Mahavidyalaya in 2068 BS (2011/2012 AD) and released her debut album Maya Ko Sansar in 2069 BS (2012/2013 AD). The album’s standout track “Raharma Hunchha Maya” earned notable recognition and marked the beginning of her professional musical rise.Her vocal repertoire includes well‑loved songs such as “Raharma Hunchha Maya,” “Chhuttiye Pachhi Ta Chhutyo,” “Manko Daag,” “Hamro Sambandha,” “Bho Malai Chahinna,” “Maya Ko Sansar,” “Ghurghur,” “Phuleko Baish,” and “Shirphule Maya.” These songs have been appreciated by listeners and audiences for their emotional depth and melodic clarity.Alongside singing, Pathak has also written several of her own songs, many of which have already been recorded.
